I seem to recall that the K series 1.8T con rods were about 1.5mm shorter than those for the 1.8VVC and 1.8 non-VVC, to lower the compression ratio and reduce the strain on the engine internals due to fitting the turbo. IIRC, the con rods used were the same length as those used for the 'Mexico' spec 1.8VVC (where issues with fuel quality necessitated a reduction in CR, and a consequent reduction in output to 150ps) - possibly the same part?.

The 1.8T uses the same pistons as the 1.8VVC (the '160' pistons).
