I've got a new shape 200 and wanna go for a set of 17in alloys. I just wonder if I need to roll the arches to fit them. Also, does anyone knows where to find cheap wheel package deals? I don't mind second hand stuffs, haven't got loads of money.
Many thanks!:D

No the arches do not need rolling for 17s! The suspension can also be lowered 40mm without any arch modifications needed.

Hope this helps

i had a R25il (same shape) and i lowered it 40mm (springs only) and 17"alloys went straight on with 205x40x17 tyres no problem.

No offence mate! But arnt 17ins a bit to OTT for a rover? 15 or 16s look a lot better.

nooo, 17's are just right - the arches are so big 15s look lost in them, 16s look ok and 18s look too big.

I pity those with 17s when you need new tyres...£££s!!!

Not that bad really! I used to pay £50 a corner for my Goodyears in 14s on my old 214. I only pay £65 a corner for Falken 17s.

Yeah, low profile 17" rubber is certainly a lot cheaper than it used to be

It's just the price of 18" tyres that scares me >=( >=( >=(
