it wouldnt at all! a full new redesign that looked like one car, as opposed to two stuck together - with sticky back plastic, would help!

its totally horrid - infact i very much doubt lotus would produce soemthing along these lines, its complete poop to say the least.

When you consider they have the Esprit and Elise/Exige. This car (if it's really the next lotus) is disgusting. It looks like a mish mash of different cars and an early 90s interior.

Please Lotus use your eyes and heads. It won't sell, not while they have the Elise.

Maybe if they used three horizontal slats on the back end instead of two and sort of jacked up the rear suspension higher? Or would that just look uglier than it already does? Maybe a slickly designed bumper sticker with a sort of clever saying on it would fix the problem, or how about a colored ball for the radio arial.

I'm gutted! Thats quite horrid, my Dad was seriously close to putting a deposit down, and chopping in his Exige when the time comes, but I really hope he doesn't now. I'm sure it'll be great from the drivers seat, but from the outside, no thanks :(

Early leaked pictures of this were strongly dismissed as a Proton coupe, sadly it seems not. Lets hope Lotus take heed of the barrage of negative responses on the styling of this car, and sort it out before the Launch. I'm yet to hear of anyone who likes it.

????? :eyes:

What's wrong with it? I'd take them all if you guys won't touch 'em :)

49k quid is a little steep, but judging by your reaction so far i guess i can pick one up for half that :D here's hoping

Hmm, odd, looks waaay to close to the VX220 if you ask me. ANd they've done that stupic stupid subaru crying headlight thing. NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!

That said, it's a lotus so it'll be a stormer to drive.

But for 49k? blimey, I hear the words TVR and Noble ringing in my ears.....

Looks very mid-nineties in side profile and far eastern from the front and rear, dated interior

Overall a very disapointing effort :(

Looks nice to me, the rear end i think looks like that chrysler spors car that currently out.
I'd buy one, i like the looks :)

its actually £33k or 49k euros, based on an elise/exige floorpan 200bhp turbo engine, i actually quite like it :)

You lot do realize that Lotus originally designed the MR2. And from straight on it at the back it looks just like a Chrysler Crossfire. I'm not a fan of lotus's recent styling. The Esprit was the last good looking car they made. Watch them ruin that aswell...

This Europa does absolutely nothing for me. It's unattractive from all angles, including the interior.

Bad Lotus! Go to your room!
