Any idea what the parts situations like on Ignition locks my Dad has been waiting 8 weeks for one for his Rover 25.>=(

Hmmm, shouldn't be a problem although saying that I've been waiting 3 weeks for a 45 lock (Cut to key number, comes direct from Valeo in France) so it might well be a parts ordering problem and not a stock availability problem.
