I noticed that it never shuts off - when I get in the car its still showing how full the tank is (naturally the keys have been out of the ignition all night).

Is this normal on a 95 Vitesse? My old 820si or 820e didnt do it - if its not normal, then how can it stay on with no keys in? Is it a known fault?
