I have standard factory fit radio/cassette, (R670?) in my 25, I am happy with the sound quality but not with the crappy control buttons:guns: I don't want to spend much but would like a CD player (single would do) any ideas and advice?

Thanks

;)

Don't know nothing about ICE  :err: - except how to scrape it off the windscreen on a frosty morning :bgrin:

You can get reasonable CD hu's from around £100, your best bet is to go some where like halfords or a local ICE shop and just have a look at a few different models.

Do a search on google.com groups, theres some good uk car audio groups. They also list lots of online shops where you can save £100's compared with halfords.

The 3 series kenwood CD H/U can be had from CAD for about £100 they are decent enough, much better than the rubbish rover fit.

Look in somewhere like Halfords and have a good play about and then when you have found what you like try other companies

I always use www.mcs-direct.co.uk -they saved me £250 on my head unit!!

If you by over the net (or some of the shops in the back of the mags) make sure you are buying UK speck stock (Serial numbers) as if you by continental sourced stock on the cheep or Re-con stock, and it goes wrong you will be up the creak with out a paddle as no one will touch it. And you can *#** to your stat wrights..:sad3:
