My ODO has stoped working on the dash will the computer still keep a record of my milage? does anyone know how i can cheack if its a loose wire to the back of the clock?

I think this is a bit of a funny one.
I had been given a Rover 25 1.4 impression as a courtesy car and the odo, rev count and speedometer cut out ocassionally when I returned it to the dealer I informed them accordingly. The dealer advised they new about this but did not inform me (I could have got caught speeding!) I asked them if it registers the mileage and they said yes and you know something they were right (cause I was that sad to check).:)

You need to get this fault checked out by a dealership workshop ASAP before the mileage mounts up 8)
