I had some starting problems so i did a compression measurment test. I have a 620SDi 1994cc with 19.5:1 compression ratio. The measured value on the mechanic test was 22bar so ill ask for your opinion is it good or bad. Looking forward for your help!!!

Is the engine attempting to fire? Is the pump timing correct, is the fuelpump belt intact, is there diesel reaching the injectors? Are the glow plugs working?
I'd be looking at these first before condeming the engine, especially if the non starting has only just happend rather than got worse gradually over many thousand miles.
