: Dodgy engine mount?

the 620di is making odd noises on shutdown and at low rpm pull aways. Sounds like glass bottles clinking together, which I pressume is the exhaust touching the underside somewhere and resonating. Also the engine stops with quite a clatter and shudder, leading me to suspect that theres too much movement of the engine being permitted. Is there a common fault with the engine mounts? Would it be anything else? Shall I just ignore it?

Any help appreciated.

Mike.

Cheers for that info. Will look into it, I know the gear linkages are worn, gearchange is pretty slack so could be that.
