Has a hell of a lot of Suzuki Swift in it. Don't know whether I like it though...
It's a blatant ripoff! I can't believe how similar it is to the Swift. I'm sure Suzuki will be flattered but equally miffed that Skoda have nicked their design.

Even the wing mirrors are like those on the Swift! However I like the new front end corporate look.

Hmmm... well I won't be getting another one regardless of the looks, having just spent ££££ on having the power steering pump and cambelt replaced, at less than 30,000 miles.

Most car designs look the same at certain points in time. Everyone currently has followed Renault's lead in doing something different with the back end in a mini-mpv stylee. I suspect the design was frozen long before the Swift turned up. Plus you'd need proper photos to genuinely compare it.

A cross between the swift and toyota yaris from the back there. The window design is better than that of the roomster.

How old is the car?

6 years old. Considering my 12 year old 113,000 mile Rover is still on it's original PAS pump I haven't been impressed.

(Should have said the cambelt tensioner went in the Skoda and nearly toasted the engine.)
