I can't here or feel any difference when i switch on my aircon. the switch light does work. Should it be cooler than the basic fan?:)

Yes, it should bring the engine revs down slightly and the air should get cold when the compressor cuts in.

What car have you got?

The car is a zs +120, the engine revs don't change & the air temp is the same as it is with just the fan on.

I take it you've got the blower fan on then? The a/c system will not work with it off.

Otherwise, it's best to book it into your dealer for diagnosis before it gets hot and you need to use your a/c system :D

Switch the system on and look at the compressor clutch (if you know what I'm on about) It should be turning intermittantly
