Not 100% sure on your seats but I fitted a lowering kit designed for a MGF to my Rover seats and it worked a treat - I look like the Nova boys now with my eyes just above the wheel :)

I'm 6'5" and also suffer from this. I really cannot see why the seats are so high in the first place:(
By my reckoning they should be about 10 - 15 cm lower. Have you noticed that this is also mentioned as a big shortcoming in most reviews of the ZR. I think the seating position, as well as being a bugger to tall drivers, tends to detract from the overall sporty feeling of the car.
so any method of lowering them would be great.

My mate was going to take a ZR for a test drive a couple of months ago and he just wouldn't fit in it.

He is 6'8'' tall and the new Seat Ibiza is the one of the very few cars he comfortably fits in... so he has gone and bought one of those!

I've got some spare runners in the garage, i'll have a look at the potential for making them lower and post what I find.

Must admit, low seats feel more sporty.

Liam - I thought you were short! Just the mental pic you build up of peeps, y'see?

Guys, just be careful if you mess around with your seat fixings - if anything (god forbid) happpened in a crash and your seat came loose, you wouldn't be best pleased, would you? especially so with today's pyrotechnic seat belt pretensioners and airbags

I believe the seat height is going to be looked at when the 25/ZR is face lifted (next year I think).

No doubt about it Graham, the customer is right. The seats (for some) can be too high - I'm 6ft and I don't have any problems.
