when i test drove my ZS it had a kind of missfire (judering at times)when cold and i told them and they checked it and found that no. 1 injector was faulty so they replaced it (£220). picked it up and it was still there so went strait back and they had a look and said it was the mafam box was turned to high so they turned it right down. after drivung around yesterday it seemed fine but went out last night when the engine was cold and it did it again but i had turned the mafam back up half way. could they be right as i dont know how high it was to start with? they said they would come and get it if it still did it (120 miles round trip) and give me a loaner. has anyone got any ideas?

On a tuned engine ,preferably XFD fully synth especially in the winter or all year and change every 8k.

I also use ZX1. It does work!

Mark i am using castrol edge TD in mine the 5-40 one. It does seem to use a little (about a pint every 6k miles but then dad, who worked for rover for a long time, said that is nothing on an L series) but seems to be much better from cold now and doesnt feel like a dead weight when stone cold.
