Guru's of the mg-rover forums i seek your help.

many 214 mk 3's aspire to be a ZR.

What other paths may the styling take?

I await your help with breath baited.

p.s. "streetgear" is a bad word. please do not use it

You can take it anywhere you want, it's just the the ZR look a like is an easy and cheap option, whhich requires no real modding.

I your practically minded many kits could be made to fit with the aid of fibre glass and filler.

Have a look a Jamie B's car in the gallery, it's a superb example of what can be done with the mk3 if you don't fancy the bolt on look.

speak for yourself , the ZR's an R25 GTI with a few extra bibs!

Jamie's is a gud example of what a tin of p38 can achieve.

where there's a will there's a way! anything can be made to fit with a bit of imagination, courage and work. which is exactly wot iv done. e.t.a new year.

Speaking as an owner of a mk3 214 i would just like to point out, in no way do i wish to copy the mg zr!

I think you gotta use your imagination and NOT take the easy option! Plus i agree jamieb's car looks wicked esp the rear end!

Mine is a bit of a mixture of a ZR (rear bumper and spoiler) then had everything colour coded, RGM Skirts, Front Splitter etc

:)

sounds like there's a lot of ******* mk3's out there:D

to answer the original question...if you want full kits off the shelf then there's only

motobuild, mynheer and ab styling.

but hold out for the new year cos something might pop up;)

speak for myself for what? isnt it true that a lot of people buy a zr spoiler and bumpers?

and its not so much as where theres a will theres a way... more like where theres enough cash theres a way :)

tbh i dont know wat i want. Tints, lowered, and if i cant find sumthin different probably a new zr spoiler wiv the middle fin. then i'd b looking for small unique touches.

To anyone that knows

Is jamieb's stuff custom made? or chopped from different kits? or wat? anyone know?

by looking at it, it looks like it has the following:

ZR spoiler
ZR back bumper
smoothed boot
modified existing front bumper, foggers removed, chrome removed etc
and it looks like they may be mynheer side skirts

:D

hi,
IMHO you better go for a custom made job as its gonna be unique and cheap.
my bumper cost me (all together with paint and fitting) 290euro
while a mimbari bumper costs :toastie:

I don't think it is, everyone who mods mk3's seems to fit these, yet the mk3 spoiler suits the lines of the car perfectly.

1 - i said many not all

valid point, but also pls note the 'sarcastic rolly eyed' smiley next to my comment. and mk3's have been modified long b4 the ZR's arrival by those not ashamed of a badge..repeat after me....we dont 'aspire':D

2 - wat u dun to urs? any pics?

Custom front
Custom skirts
Custom rear
ZR spoiler

pics when iv finished the job

3 - r u cute?
:D

not telling im shy:p

dimitris's front bumper (looks like) the BAT motorsports front bumper (as seen on Nova's/Saxo's/306's) which if i remember correctly retails at £199 and needs to be customised to fit
