See for yourself. It's in the game! (apparently)
(Please note, this game is 18-rated. I don't have access to the 18+ sub-forum on here, otherwise I'd have probably considered putting it in there).
OMFG is that for real?? haha
did you watch it all the way through? There's more than just the first bit!

OMG, he went back for more 'relief'?? I'll watch it through this time.............
incidentally, for those with X360 and PS3 consoles, wondering which version is "best", the comparisons are starting to appear, and fortunately, it looks like they're both pretty similar.
Apparent differences of note:
* XB360 has Downloadable content in the form of priced extra storylines and missions (nothing has been confirmed for the PS3 yet, but it's not been denied either)
* XB360 Achievements (PS3 HOME trophy and awards details have not yet been confirmed)
* Shorter load times for PS3
* Similar frame-rate (still a bit irregular in places on both consoles, as has been tradition in all GTA games)
* Slightly better texture-load-in on PS3
* PS3 also less susceptible to "pop-up", although not totally immune.
My god, he's not a very good driver is he?
Then he goes and shoots her, after saying "Man, life is really empty"
:err:
Such a realistic timeline too
Such a realistic timeline too
lol, he was a bit "quick" wasn't he?
you mean that's not normal....? :errx2: hehe
I'm personally wondering just how "free and open" the GTA world is, and how much variation is possible, if you catch my meaning... ;)
Oh, and according to the Play.com website, my copy of the game dispatched on the 24th? I'll believe it when I see it!
Link is no longer.......:(
Can someone repost a new one?
Ta
search youtube for "GTAIV Hookers" and its there
not really suitable for here
- Paul - 29-04-2008, 16:29 GTAIV is proof what console is still pipping it for me.
Xbox Live and Downloadable Content.
I could of got the PS3 version for what maybe slightly better technically, but on the PSN... no thanks.
As for the Hookers bit... well i'll wait til I see it in the game.
SteveChilds 29-04-2008, 19:30 Downloadable content hasn't been ruled out on the PS3 - they've only said that the 360 will get exclusive DLC... nothing to stop them releasing one add-on pack exclusive for the 360 and the rest on both / PS3 only.
As for whether XBL is better than PSN - seems XBL has been having rather a few problems of late (http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/23/xbox-live-up-and-running-but-still-having-difficulties/)!
But it will come down to which version your mates are getting I suppose, as to which you'll buy, seeing as there is no cross platform gaming.
david_r_bates 30-04-2008, 06:09 There seems to be a lot of reports or lockups on the PS3 especially (also some on 360 tho)
I think I'll wait, and a build a new PC around it....if a game was buggy on a console I'd be absolutely furious....less so on a PC cos of the sheer number of variables.
I heard that there are lock ups in the ps3 60 gig version. Also the xbox version has graphics done originally in 720p but the ps3 has 630p upgraded to 720p by the ps3 resulting in slightly less sharper and blurry image quality. Still appears to be a great great game.
Reverie158 30-04-2008, 08:30 Can't beat a few unsubstantiated comments ;)
Not had any lockups on my 60Gb PS3. FACT.
my 60gig unit runs it fine. no problems so far!
And the general tested concensus is that the ps3 version is slightly better looking, so poo to that "comment" ;).
makes a change!
SteveChilds 30-04-2008, 14:26 Yeah, the PS3 version does appear to run at a lower resolution, but ironically, does appear to be the best looking version.
We know the PS3 is capable of stunning graphics, so I suspect its another casulty of a 360 game being ported to the PS3 early in its development.
More and more people do seem to be using the PS3 as the target platform and then porting it to the 360 - it appears to be the best way to get the best out of both consoles.
looked worse on my mates 50" plasma going through a ps3 than it does on my 32" lcd on the 360!
its strange because a lot of ps3 games look much better!
and whats with the lack of antialiasing? grrr!!
SteveChilds 30-04-2008, 14:54 tbh, that's probably more down to the plasma & screensize difference.
You can really only compare like for like, so same screen with the two consoles. But yeah, the 360 version has 2x AA, the PS3 has none.
Like I said, we know the PS3 can do stunning graphics (look at GT5P), its probably just down to development issues, rather than indicative of anything else.
Previous big-hitter titles have been known to run at lower resolutions, such as Halo3 and COD for example. It's no different to that. They must have a reason for doing it. And as has been said, it actually looks marginally better on the PS3 than the 360 on a like-for-like set-up, so who cares?
SteveChilds 01-05-2008, 15:56 Found myself in Walsall today and thought I'd try and buy a copy - nowhere had it!
Quite interesting the difference in prices too.
Game - £ 44.99
Zavvi - £ 50
Blockbuster - £39.99
Been hunting for a while.
Been to asda 3 times, wanted a 360 version... Got a PS3 version, sold it to a mate :P
Worst bit is some idiot i know happened to go into woolworths for a quick bit of stationary shopping and they had hundreds of copies in stock.
He didnt even plan on buying it!
Found myself in Walsall today and thought I'd try and buy a copy - nowhere had it!
What console had they sold out for?
I walked into my local Game to find a queue from the counter right up to the door, turned out it was just for GTA 4 for the 360. So i walked past, bought it for the PS3 without waiting then walked straight out :D £45 it was.
Edit: Whats the reason for the PS3 having less AA than the 360?
