Can anyone tell me how to tighten the throttle cable on a ZS180 (04 plate). I have about an inch of free play when I press the throttle and cable looks loose in engine bay.
Cheers

if you open the bonnet you will see an adjuster where the cable is attached to the inlet plenum just behind the throttle body

The throttle cable passes through a threaded tube in the engine bay. There's a square part on this tube that needs lifting out of it's holding bracket then turning along the threads to tightens/loosen the cable. I only adjusted mine about 1/4 of a turn at a time until I got it just the way I wanted it.

Follow the cable across the top of the plenum to the circled area

Thanks for the picture, Shroon.

I've added an arrow to show exactly where the throttle cable needs adjusting.
