Just a quick question will a 25/zr manifold fit the ZS 1.8 as the zs mani has a precat on .

Heres the manifold in question.

If it was fitted and a decat fitting surly i wouldnt stand a chance come MOT??
Would there be any increase in proformance if matched with zorst system?

that item looks very similar to the one on my BRM. The next section goes from 2 - 1 down the front and under the engine and also includes a flexi-section at the other end.

Other than that, I've no idea - haven't seen the innards of a ZS120, sorry!

Well just found out that it came off a 200 vi vvc. So i assume the brm uses the same vvc mani. Gonna see if i can get hold of the down pipe to join on to the cat.

All of the EU2 16 valve k series engines fitted to the 200/400 use the same manifold as in the picture.

You will need to do some cutting/welding to get the older system to fit the ZS.

The Lambda sensor is also different.

Would there be any improvements to fitting this one without a precat?

Possibly more free flowing than the original.

If anything the ZR160 would be the better OE system as it only had the Cat. in the original underfloor position, it would still need work fitting it to the ZS.

ok will look in to it that one is on the way so will see how much work would be needed. Thanks for the help :)
