its a 200tdi, and its 25years old :)

Good engine fitted there mate. My brother is thinking of dropping maybe a 200 or 300tdi into his series 2a; it's currently got a transit lump fitted

Yeh worth doin, they are good engines, had a disco before this, that was a 300 tdi. was un breakable, must have fludded it 10times, was sat in water for 4hours once, and still went strong, and i didnt have a snorkel

Used to work alot alot on the tdi lump so yeah do know how bulletproof they can be, timing belts could be a bit of an arse on um though. If a buy a disco or defender it's going to be a really late 300tdi model, not going to be for a year or two yet though (need to clear my debts first)
