hi
just purchased above car just a few niggles in boot there is two plates over arches with bolted on each corner but there is two bolt holes in centre of plate should there be bolts there ?...or just caps....
also under dashboard what appears to be a connector plug male and a female plug (size of printer plug) taped to steering bar next to fuse box any idea's please nothing in wiring diagram..could only afford the haynes version..

The plug you see is either an earth header joint (Is it blue??) or the J1963 diagnostic plug

Could you send in a pic of the bolts/holes in the boot?
