Hi,
can anyone help me with my problem, i have a 96 Vitesse with climate control, however when i turn the temp down to low it continues to blow warm air.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I would guess either the lever is a bit knackered or its the system which controls hot/cold air itself at fault.

I know with my metty, If I quickly move the lever it works mint, but if I move it slowly, it tends to stay cold (or warm depending which way I move it). I assume its just the lever not catching inside or something, but I know how it works so until it doesnt work this way any longer, I'm in no rush to get it looked at!

And welcome to the forum (I was new once :p)

Interior temp changes are not necessarily instantaneous, but if warm air blows for any length of time, have your refrigerant level checked. It may need a recharge.

The refridgerant does need topping up, which i will get done soon.
Last night i noticed it was now blowing cool air from windscreen and face vents but blows hot air at feet, changing the temp setting made no difference.
BTW it is a digital climate control so have no sliders.
Could it be a relay or the button control on dash?
I'd like to know before i scrap my old 90 Vitesse, (while i have a donor)
Thanks for your help

The air distribution is controlled by small servo motors; I reckon one of these is not working.

Which one? I haven't got a clue.
