Anyone is welcome to turn up and have a look. The car will is for show only and is a LHD vehicle and not to full UK specifcation, but will give all of us an insight to next years new car. We are on Dunmow Road, Rayne, Braintree, Essex. CM776SA. Any questions on 01376 550899 Kevin perkinsofrayne 10-09-2010, 14:24 The car is here, first thoughts from a sceptical car dealer whos first car launch was the Austin Ambassador is that the car is far better looking and bigger in the flesh, has good paint finish and panel fit. Quite nice inside with good general leg room front and rear, bit restrictive in the back with the sunroof but that we think is only standard on the top range model, the dash looks ok with stereo sounding good. As of today actually seeing the car we feel much more confident about the future, role on 2011. ps Just been told that official launch should be around mid March, if any of you good people want to be put on the MG 6 e-mail newsletter let me have an email address and i will get it sorted. Hi - I did thank you - was kinda hoping Perkins might have had time to take some higher resolution images Windy 10-09-2010, 15:36 see my post 75 meets mg6 its the silver one as seen at silverstone/goodwood. ... downsides , may not be homoglated for towing due to rear foglight position. headroom for anyone my height (6 ft) in the rear is non existant , although not having a sunroof fitted might help. The silver one seen at Goodwood did not have a sunroof fitted in the rear and did have more than enough headroom in the rear for me at 6'3. I'm puzzled about the position of the sunroof, did it have a rear courtesy lamp in the roof above the rear seats? I don't think the Chinese have invented the caravan yet, they wouldn't need to tow! I hated them with chrome bowls and I think the black ones just make it look bug eyed. It just needs something simpler like those off the Mk 2 ZS As an add on the side repeaters should be in the door mirrors and the rear door handles should be in that little lip on the top edge of the door black out a la Alfa Rom so the beast looks like a coupe.
