: Exactly what parts are fitted to MG6 at Longbridge?

Is there a man on the 'inside' who can tell us how much of the MG6 is actually built at Longbridge.

I quizzed the young MG sales relations chap at the MPH show about the logistical nightmare of being short of a particular switch or trim part when building MG6s, and having to individually airfreight the parts from China rather than by the usual ship. He replied by saying that everything is done in China other than the engine and gearbox ancillaries...

So, do they have wheels on? Are they shipped here in containers or on a roll-on roll-off ferry? I'm intrigued.

Don't get me wrong - I quite fancy the new MG6 in September when my lease car goes back; BRG with sand leather might be nice, although for resale I'll go for the Grey or black probably. As a former buyer at Toshiba (knowing all about the supply problems from the Far East) I am just interested in how the production setup.
