Can anyone help me. The bolt that holds the front seat runners to the floor has shredded when i was changing the interior over. Its sods law that it was the last bolt that i was trying to undo. Anyway can anybody advise me on what step to take to get it out?

Thanks

mmmmmm tricky try with a hack saw to make a grove init and use a slot headed screw driver and unscrew it?

Angle grinder or hacksaw, slot the bugger. :)

Or drill it out.

I think if its tight enough to round off with a socket you've got no chance of undo'ing it with a screwdriver.

hammer and chisel ;) then finish getting it out with grips

Yeah hammer n chisel or punch.
Note: don't try to chisel the head off! Whack the edge to nudge it anticlockwise - works a treat.

Weld an M8 nut to the head. Less damage then flying sparks from a grinder! That's assuming a decent chisel doesn't move the head around.

I managed to get a T50 head Allen Key in and got some grip at the bottom of the nut. They round very easy might have to invest in some more Nuts.

Saying that some torx and allen key heads are not what I call sharp and full to the tip, they are deformed from when manufactured. I have before now ground the head down to ensure a full size dimensional grip is available.
