Hi guys firstly hello to you all..
long time no hear...been very busy last few months on various projects inc. the mapping side of things...

I have a ZR TD and the turbo has blown...it appears to have sucked oil into the airbox? also smoking a lot and now the engine is running still when you turn ignition off..
I have a donar turbo to fit on in the nxt few days..aprt from giving everything as good clean is their anything i need to watch out for... and why would the engine still be runnning without ignition?

Cheers Benno

probably because the engine is burning engine oil the turbo is chucking into the intake as fuel...

Doesn't necessarily have to run away, when I bought my 400 it had blown turbo seals and it just occasionally blipped itself.

Might be worth cleaning the intercooler pipes just to remove residual oil for when the car is restarted, and verifying the engine still has enough oil.

Will do..i will change the oil as a pre-caution and flush most parts out and hopefully will be a good derv back on the road....

PS.Me and 4 freinds are currently in talks and thinking about having a ZR track/hill climb car..totally stripped out and tuned either that or a g60
personally i think the zr would be more fun also being a diesel
Will keep you posted on how it goes
