Thats a lot of abbreviations!

1998 Honda Civic 1.8 VTI Manual
MOT March 2012
Tax end Nov 2011
114k
PSH
Aircon
Half Leather
Sunroof
Full Electrics
New Spacesaver
Toolkit
34mpg round town / 39mpg on the M8.
Lowered 40mm
17"s with good tyres
VTIS skirts
VTIS front lip
Whale Penis Induction
P72 ECU (From DC2 Integra)
Smoked repeaters
6x9s on the parcel shelf
Sonys in the doors
Kenwood CD player.

Kicking out out about 180bhp. Im hoping to get it on the rollers with Keith (crome) and Yeo soon. Not in that much of a rush to sell as it is so practical, but i have the need for a Mk2 Golf GTI or an old Merc.

Number plate has been valued at a grand by two online agencies, written quotes can be supplied with car.

Recent work includes a new passenger wing due to scratches, upper front wishbone, lower N/S balljoint, CCV joint, centre section, rear pads, quick service, sealed up backlights, greasing routines carried out, new tyre, tracking done last week.

Comes with a new spacesaver. Its a pretty low insurance group compared to say, a ZS180 and the MPG difference is notable! I get 35 around town and commuting and 39 on a run. I have all the stats on a Ful app on my phone, so you can see its not a made up MPG.

£999 gets it with the plate / offers / swaps

Note H badge has been replaced today.

Quite fancy a ZT if anyone is interested.

Would my car be of interest to you mate?

My car.....

Ford Focus 2.0 Zetec ESP Estate in sapphire blue

First registered in 04/01/01
MOT till February 22nd 2012
Tax till December 2011
Full Ford service history
1 previous owner (Chap in his late 60's)
In excellent condition inside and out, the back seats were never even sat in until I bought the car!

The service history is incredible with all the stamps in the service book....

As follows....

Godfrey Davis (Ford dealership) mileage, 3,962 on the 27/6/01
CD Bramall Ford....Milage 14,266 on the 18/07/02
CD Bramall Ford....Mileage 29,510 on the 29/4/03
CD Bramall Ford....Mileage 39,452 on the 12/4/04
CD Bramall Ford....Mileage 51,243 on the 5/1/05
Evans Halshaw Ford....Mileage 75,770 on the 4/10/06
Evans Halshaw Ford....Mileage 86,846 on the 4/12/07 (Cambelt replaced on this service using a genuine Ford belt)
Evans Halshaw Ford....Mileage 96,746 on the 3/1/09
Carserv UK.... Mileage 105,720 on the 22/1/10
Carserv UK....Mileage 113,577 on the 19/01/11

I have done the following with all receipts in the past 1,000 miles..... New HT leads, Bosch Super 4 plugs, OE Airfilter, OE oil filter, Oil being Castrol Magnatec fully synthetic 5/30. New discs and pads front and rear, Extreme Brilliance bulbs at £25.99 each, rocker cover gasket, TB cleaned as well as all breather pipes. Airbox modification with direct feed. My car made 133bhp on the rollers last month so a very nice and healthy engine considering they are 130bhp as standard.

Apart from the discreet airbox modification she is totally standard.
Her original Ford 16" alloys are all in fantastic condition with not scrapes or chunks taken out and are all on the same make of tyre being Yokohama. Both rears have 6mm tread and both fronts have 5mm tread.

Her creature comforts include....

Heated front and rear screens
Freezing cold aircon....(Re-gassed May 2010)
Anti locking brakes
ESP which is basically traction control. This really is fantastic but can be turned off by a touch of a button by the handbrake if for some reason you don't want it on!
Central locking off the key
Kenwood CD player with Ipod connection
Remote boot off the key or can be done from inside the car
Electric windows
Drivers and passenger airbags (Don't know if these would be classed as a creature comfort as its the only extra on the car I have really never wanted to try!)

As from her history above and having one owner from new you can tell she has been very well loved. I have all the original handbooks in their folder and also a folder full of receipts of all work that has been carried out over her years that total to over £5,000! This includes all the Ford service receipts, tyres, cv boots, bulbs.....The previous owner kept every receipt for my car....It has to be seen to be believed!

I can honestly say you really will be hard pushed by to find a 2001 Ford Focus 2.0 ESP Zetec in her condition as well as all her history with only 1 previous owner.

She drives like new, no unwanted noises, pulls well in all gears and stops in a straight line. Parkers guides quote my car doing 0-60 in 9.0 and onto a top speed of 125mph. I get 33-34mpg around town and 38-40mpg on a run.

I have her advertised locally at £1,450ono. I live in Milton Keynes (MK2)

Why rover didnt put an engine like that one in that chassis instead of the big dumb heavy KV6 ill never know. Awesome car.

Funnily enough a B18C4 weighs the same as a KV6 as its not alloy

When i had my MB6 (same colour as that one actually) I stuck 180 suspension on it for that reason

someone on the MB6 forum tried 1.8 suspension and.........well it didn't work so either MG ZS 180 or diseasel suspension is a nice upgrade for this baby.

Also worth noting is the limited slip diff fitted as standard which is immense fun on roundabouts.

power power power lift.........opposite lock..........POWWWWERRRRRR !

it is a car that actively encourages you to drive like a tool !

gearbox is set up so to stay in vtec through the gears you have to hit the redline smack on every change lmao

i did love mine

I did like it but ive had numerous 400s and 45s and to be honest it was just the same car, just had enough of that chassis tbh.

LSD was fun though. With it being on the teg ECU it shifted like nothing ive had. Was a bit rusty round the back arches and i try and steer clear of rust as theres nothing i can do about it!

Long gone now though.

A lovely motor. Now running with stainless steel 4-2-1 manifold with decat and mongoose cat back exhaust system. Also no longer has air con and whale penis replaced with AEM short arm and new cold air feed. Dropped 130mm on coil overs, new lca's and camber adjustment front and rear. Front splitter. Custom headlights.new steering wheel and is awaiting corbeau bucket seats to be fitted and interior tidied up.

She's my pride and joy. Would love to speak more to previous owner about previous mods. :)
