As most of us Irish boys (North and South) use this forum and the regional one is a ghost town I posted in main forum too.

Hi all, for any Republic of Ireland members, Norn Iron members, or British members over here, I have found a great bodyshop in Dublin.

Connie got hit with a trolley jack, pallet truck or some such like in an Ind Est car park last week by an unkown numpty which left a fist sized dent in the door sill under front passnger door, apint removed too.

Got quotes ranging from €120 to €320 to fix it. Went with Autobody Clinic Blanchardstown (5 mins from work) and dealt with Daniel.

He Removed chrome strip under the door (undamaged)
Brought it down to bare metal,
welded on a key,
pulled out the dent,
bit of re-shapping,
little bit of filler sanded to smooth,
primed and painted.
Refitted chrome strip

took him two days. €120 all in. fantastic job, seamless repair. I would heartily recommend them.

PS he gave me a bottle of the spare paint he made up that he didnt use as I told him I wanted to tart up some stone chips.

Nice to know I have a dent in the quarter panel on the Vitesse and like that been given prices of 200 to 500 euro of bodyshops
