I've got the same problem with my mats. No retaining screws. Parts Dept at my 2 nearest dealers say that you can't buy them seperately and that they only come with the mats.

Needless to say that they won't split a set...and I aint buying new mats for just the screws. Can't see them in Halfords either.

So keep having to make sure the mat doesn't ride under the pedals every day.

Tell ya what, I'll get some in and see what turns up.....I'm hopeful!

Thought I recognised the 'name' Steve....:D

I prefer Dre anyway

Im finding this in my 97 200. The mats look like offical jobs as they fit perfectly but when i move the clutch the hole mat moves over to one side and drives me mad. Theres no holes in the mats and theres nothing on the floor of the car to fix anything onto, is there anything i can do?
Thanks

Yes - you can screw a small, fat self-tapper into the carpet, through the mat and secure it that way. The factory fitting is very similar; this way is a little more 'permanent'

The floor mats in my Audi are held down with this 'mod'

Make sure you use black screws...

Anyone tried using Velcro attached (glued or sewn) to the mat so it "sticks" to the carpet ??

I've currently got the screw and some velcro on mine. Neither hold it in place. My next resort is to stitch the velcro in place to stop the d@mn thing moving around.
