Well as this forum is for a 'local' area (From more or less the Scottish Border down to God-knows-where!!) Why not post on here the roads that have speed fixed speed cameras or where mobile units have their favorite places?? That way we all drive more carefully down them and avoid points and fines!!

But wait on....I'm just gonna check we are allowed to do this, as I've got a feeling it might be 'naughty' and I don't fancy PC Plod slapping my wrists!! If it's a WPC then I might let her slap my bum tho...

Most sites have links to specific areas, so find yours and take a look if you feel the inclination, but if you get done for speeding it's on your head, not mine!!

Thats what it said, can't quite see the point of the new 50 limit they put in when they narrowed it. Its fine when its busy but when its empty? I'm guessing one will go under the railway bridge at the start/end of the 50 zone.

just incase nobodys noticed em yet theres 2 new speed cams just been put up on the motorway (m74 i think) between the first and last carlisle junctions, north and southbound

alrite, my last post here's out of date now! whoops! they've just put in massive road works there so they must just be temporary roadwork speedcams

there planning to knock up a few in Hartlepool too :irked: GUTTED!!! most of them in hartlepool are mobile ones and arnt there very often. so the fixed ones are on there way......:(

One's been up on the A186 (just before it becomes the A69) between The Fox and Hounds and The Denton. Thing is they still haven't put the camera on it and there are not road markings, only a matter of time. Seems like an odd place to put one cos no one speeds there anyway.

WTF is the speed limit on the A1058 (east bound) between Jesmond Dene and the Railway Bridge. A while back it kept changing from 70 to 50 and back but now both sets of signs are up :confused:

For anyone in the Boro area there is a favourite of the Mobile traffic cops on wilderness way (Stockton Road) past McMillan School, the road that runs parallel to the A66 between Boro And stockton, they like that one as it is a nice straight quiet stretch,
