You see so many modded cars on the road and most of them are driven like ***** and lots of them look awful but i have to this day to see a mg or a rover that has been modified been driven stupidly i have seem lots of mg's that have been modified and they are always in such good nic, polished and driven nicely both younger people and older people.

Might be down to the area you are in a there are lots of MG-ROVERs that are modded and driven by nobs, especialy the Zed range, the ZR is uslay driven by 20-30 year olds, the alloys are usualy non-factory, fair few girl racers drive them too, the ZS gets a lot of 28-38 dumb asses bombing them round, the ZT tends to get away with it but you would be suprised how many of the ones speeding in them and genraly driving badly are 50+.

Oh i would of thought it is because in cornwall there is not all that much money so people appreciate what they have more and look after it.
Also i do notice that the driving habitats and standards down hear are so much better as when i do drive up country i find that it is a nightmare and so many *****s on the road.

You always know someone is a tourist as they come barreling down the roads without any sense at all, usually forcing you to reverse half a mile up the road as they have driven straight past the dug outs...

I spend some time "in the city" for work and driving there is a whole different ball game!

Tell me about it i get this all the time esp living near the moors and lots of single track roads there is never a problem in the winter as everyone gives way to eachother but in the summer all the localls are ****** off because of the tourists and the tourists allways think you should reverse even though they ahev gone past a pull in. All i do is turn engine off and read a mag of papper that is in my car they soon get annoyed or i get out of the car and ask them nicely if they want me to reverse there car 3 feet so i can get past lol.

Now I would say the opposite, local people are the ones who come barreling down narrow lanes as they think they know the roads well and know when they rarely meet traffic coming the other way, it's people on holiday who usually potter around as they have all the time in the day. I get the same round local rural roads round by me, as I don't know the roads and areas that well I tend to go slower, local people fly round bends like mad men :rofl:

I find this to be opisit for me as tourist drive the roads to fast and so many animals get killed as well localls of course dont hang about but they know the road very well and i never have a problem with localls we reverse depending on how far oneanother have to but the tourist never do.
