Hello, ive been lookin for a mg enthusiast site for a while, and stumbled on this one.

I currently own a vaux corsa but after seeing the new MG ZR range....I WANT ONE!

Thing is though, i want the ZR 160 (can you blame me) but i fear the insurance will be huge (ill be 20 with 2yr ncb).

Sooo i was wondering, ive been reading a few of the past threads and found out the zr120 is a good alternative. Whats the difference though between the ZR120 and the ZR120+?? Also anybody own the 120? whats the performance like compared to say the new corsa sri 1.8 and the fiesta zetec-s? (my other alteratives..)

But the best news for you is to buy your MG ZR before the end of March, COZ YOU GET FREE INSURANCE, AND VERY CHEAP FINANCE DEALS.....

I would choose a TF if i can, but 160 is fine if you can live with the fuel comsumption :eyes
Its 30-50mph and 50-70 in 4th gear is actually faster that the 160. Not to mention it is torquey as well =P

I'd probably go for a ZR TD and fit a TuningBox to it.....I know it sounds an odd one to go for, but until you've driven one you won't appreciate the power on tap :)

I've got a 120+ mate, dont forget it hasn't got 17's and side sills as standard!

The Fiesta zetec-s is a nice car, but not as fast as the 120 and is also super comman!

The new corsa, well I hate them!
Out of these cars I garentee you will not be able to get the sort of buss you, get when driveing the ZR in anything else!

didnt i read somewhere that the ZR TD has the fastest 50-70 time of all the Z cars apart from the ZS 180 ???
