Ok, maybe a bit of a sad post, but since i have moved from Nottingham to Penrith, i've been missing all the friends i made down there with regard to mg/rover meets (That includes you Si !).
So i'm just wondering who is in the vicinity to penrith in case i get a free weekend and want a nice chat about cars over a pint in the local!
There are plenty and i mean plenty of mg-rovers around here, so come on and make yourself known.

Just thought i'd say hello, bit to far away for a regular meet (Barrow), but we should defo have a Cumbria meet somewhere, there's loads of MGs and Rovers around.

You are not alone! Though i think we are a bit thin on the ground on this site....go on someone prove me wrong. I'm in Ennerdale, West cumbria. Have seen some pretty snazzy ZR parked at work though! look forward to hearing form all you Mg marras.

me and my mate are up in penrith a lot in the summer, so if you see a red or burgundy mk3 200 its probably one of us

There's loads of MG-R's out this way. I'm in freezing cold West Cumbria, Workington to be precise.

Nice to see people coming out of the woodwork and making themselves known.
Obviously we will have to have some sort of get together in the new year & when the weather gets slightly better! Plenty of nice driving roads in cumbria, might be able to interest some of my old mates from the East Mids to come up and sample the scenery.
