Hi,I am looking for a Detachable tow bar for a Rover 800.I believe they were made by Brinks for Rover,and marketed under both names.I need a detachable ball because I have my 800 and an SD1 on the drive,and they won't fit on the drive together if I have a fixed ball.

Hi, sorry if this is a bit late, but I've only just joined the forum. I obtained a detachable towbar for my previous car, a 820SLi saloon from www.towbarsdirect.co.uk. If I remember correctly for about £100 they supplied a Brink that had 2 bolts to remove the swan neck rather than fully detachable. It was fairly easy to fit apart from the electrics, which my local garage sorted for £15!
