This is the second time there are something wrong with the ligths...they changed something somewhere about a year ago...:doh:

Yea i changed the relay allready....did the same thing after a while.Occasionally though.
Of course there is a chance that the second relay was no good either...
Is this common for Rovers or what? I´ve heard some others having the same problem.
Not heard of a problem myself, but that doesn't mean one doesn't exist by any means.
Could it be the relay suffering in the cold weather. You could try removing it, taking it indoors for the night and re-fitting. May eliviate the problem for a while. Bit of a stab in the dark but worth a go.

I think you have a point there... i had the same problem about a year ago - also in freezing cold weather.
Maybe i should wrap the poor thing in a towell or something...:p

Grease does have a freezing point. Maybe cleaning it out and using a grease with a lower freezing point may help.

if its a switch the switch a honda one fits as well and its cheaper (not to mention easier to find)
