I have had my ZS180 since August and have done over 3000 miles. Problem is loss of power when town driving and this occurs when dropping off the revs. Noticeable drop off of power (feels as if car is going to cut out completely) once I accelerate away runs OK. There is no pattern to this - can run for a few days without any sign of the problem - other days it happens regularly.
Within weeks of getting the car I had a similar problem when starting the car from cold - on accelerating away power dropped off completely and car stalled. Dealer corrected that fault and everything seemed OK till now.
Other than that car is greatly admired up here and I am well impressed by it - I used to have a company car - Audi 1.8 Turbo Sport Quattro and not missing it one bit !

Benny,

Is it still under warrenty???

If it is, take it back asap, it could be one of many things causing this problem you decribe.

Dave may be able to offer some more advise <all shout> "DAVE"

It is booked in for Friday but sometimes helps if can make some suggestions to them as fault may not be there on day it goes in to garage.

Don't go telling them, as it may offend, 'Teaching to suck eggs' comes to mind, but I'd be checking the throttle cable and throttle body for sticking/adjustment.

Otherwise, there ain't a whole lot you can do without specialist tooling, namely T4
