Are the back lights on the zr slightly different to the 25's? the indicator part looks lighter, and better in my opinion. Also does anyone else think that rover should put the new lexus style lights on the 25/zr as standard, maybe put the more restrained style ones on the 25, and the totally clear ones on the zr, i think it would be a good addition to the 2003 spec cars, what does anyone else think?

Yes the indicator section of the rear light unit on a ZR is lighter than on the 25.

I agree about the Lexus style clear lights. The red ones should be used as standard on the Rover 25 and both red and white on the ZR. The white type only suit certain body colours.

I read ages ago that Lexus clear style (jewel effect) rear light units would be used on all MGR models but it has never materialised.

Yeah if they fitted them as standard, you'd only want to change them for something different!

Nah I think the 'Jewel Effect' rear lights are excellent. If any are ever developed for the 75/ZT I'll be first in the queue !

The only improvement that could be made over Jewels would be LED lights similar to those on the TCV.

I reckon they would be too expensive to maintain/replace though for everyday use.
