: EBC Green Suff for the ZS120

Dave,

Two questions about the EBC Green Stuff pads for ZS 120 if you don't mind?

1) Are there any for the 120? I'm getting slightly annoyed at the lovely BLACK 17" straights attached to my car ;) it seems they are black with dust after about a week. :cus:

2) I guess you at Richardson's deal with Arvalphh etc. If, when it comes time to change my pads, someone asked nicely for Green Suff ones to be used, do you reckon that Arvalphh would authorise it? - even if I offered the difference between the green stuffs and standard pads? If they said no, would you do it anyway? (feel free to ignore that last part if you feel it would incriminate you ;) )

Thanks

Gareth

I would have a good guess at the pads being the same as mine, so you would get some for yours!!!

I don't see why not!!

Yes, there are GreenStuff pads for the 120 - don't ask me the part number!

Arval-PHH will only pay for and authorise OE Spec pads - if there was an accident or brake failure - who'd be to blame?

Difficult one.

:( - that's what I thought. Oh well - looks like I'll be cleaning my wheels more often then!

Thanks for the help.

You got a pressure washer?

No it's all bucket and sponge - will a jet wash get it off then? - if so I might have found an elusive Christmas Present from my parents! (for those younger readers - they send them off to Santa who delivers them if you've been good! ;) )

I have some 'Wonder Wheels' which I used with great success on my Astra. It's just theres a lot of awkward edges on the straights and I think I'll be there for ages. Oh well it'll just be perseverence. In 3 years and 10 months the leasing sompany might sell it to me - then I can do what I want!

Hopefuly if it's not to cr@@py weather today I might take it a run down to the jet wash.

Just passed 5k miles - hopefully later today or tomorrow I'll post a running report. It finally gets the ICE sorted today... hopefully.

Yeah, a running report would be great Gareth!

We spray the wheels with dilute Traffic Film Remover (Get it from Patrco I guess) and wash off immediately with a power hose.

For stubborn brake dust stains, agitate it with a brush.

My wheels are always spanking clean.
