Sorry, about all the confusion.

I haven't visited the site in an unusually long time, as I am not at work until the 6th (taking extra days for my 21st :D ). Thanks for the concern though, I am touched.

I do still have the laptop.

I live in manchester during the week for work and Doncaster (back home :) ) at the weekend, so if you live close to any of these areas I will gladly bring the laptop to yourself for an inspection. If not maybe we could arrange to meet at a half way point, providing to many miles aren't involved. I will try and get a digital picture of it this weekend when I go back home

lost your email address so using this

i cant seem to get the cd to work ? i have used the one cable supplied that does the floppy too ? connects to printer port ? the floppy is fine, the cd starts up but isn't recognised by the machine, either to boot from or in windows ? any ideas ?
