Yes get a good contrast - and neons can look well good. Though as I'm colour blind - I'm not the best person to ask for guidance :D

Be careful though, 'cause they can mean 3 penalty points for use on a moving vehicle.:~(

I've already got mine, a set of 4 all in blue. Cost me around £140.

I had them on my MGf and it looked great :D

Roaming around the countryside at night, all you could see was this blue glow... :)

Let me find the company I got them from.

The company: CTC AutoFashion

URL: http://www.ctc-autofashion.co.uk

Direct URL to neons: http://www.ctc-autofashion.co.uk/ctca/product.asp?dept%5Fid=201&pf%5Fid=AXL1024

There service is good, I placed my order off the phone. Wasnt to confident about the online ordering on that site. :)

Cheers!

I wondered how long it would be before somebody poo-pooed the neon thing!

I guess its personal preference... Just like you may prefer a nodding dog on your parcel shelf, I wouldnt slate you for that but its not me. :)

They look pretty good if they are installed correctly and not tackily installed like some boy racers mooching around where the tube is on full display. :D

Yes, nicely fitted neons on a classy car when it is parked up looks nice........

but

too many boy racers run up and down the seafronts of the South West with badly fitted neons, this tends to ruin their reputation as a desireable accessory, IMO.

Totally agree Dave... The Fast and The Furious has great examples of how they should be fitted... If anyones ever seen it. :)

I wouldnt drive around with them on anyways, have done but not after I got warned about the fine and points! Likewise my fog lights... Groan. :P

Dr Dave, any idea if I can get one of the switches for the centre console, possibly where the AirCon one goes (Its blank at the moment, didnt get that option ) next to the hazard lights... I'd prefer a nice switch instead of a custom fit one in the foot well.

Yep :-) the air con switch for a 25 is about £6+VAT

We fitted one into a 25 the other day for a similar purpose =P

David

If you ever visit Northern Ireland - be sure and stay well away from Co. Armagh!!

There's a Rover 213 - complete with black bodywork, heavily tinted rear and side windows, a ZS180 syle spoiler (black of course), side skirts, dramatically lowered suspension, (at a guess) 17" alloys, touring car style front spoiler, tinted lights and a sunband across the front (black of course) with 'The Thing' emblazoned in silver across the front of it.

The finishing touch has to be the numberplate which has a lovely little 'verse' on it... 'Touch ma Car. ****** yer A***'

Mind you.... doesn't have any neons:D

A typical Rover driver?
