No, Whitehouse is still there, was in there today actually.

They got a massive sale on and many of the cars were sold.

Dont know how much longer they'll be around for.

I bought my MG from the most recent one, looks as if my car has to be serviced by a 3RD party garage from now on. :(

If you need a good place and you are local to the Dartford/Gravesend area, try Apple Developments. They have a place in Meopham, run by two ex Fairways Rover Gravesend men.

I spoke to one of the service guys at Dartford the other day and he said that he expects to change franchise in the future (although no specifics at this stage - whitehouse having many franchises for different makes). However he did say that they would continue to service MG Rovers there irrespective of the change which is good news!

Emma, is Lawrie Colyer the happiest man you've ever come across??? He used to do a collection service before Apple took off, and he would literally bounce into my house a 7.45 in the morning smiley and happy, and id be like "Uggh ugg ugg UGGH" (cave man stylee)!!!

Mike, I didn't actually get to meet the man himself, but I spoke him on the phone. He is really nice, liked to have a chat about the F. Actually I got the car going in tomorrow for new brake pads. I'm hoping to completely upgrade my brakes eventually, doing some research now. I'll probably take them down to Apple to have them done as I'm not that mechanically minded, although I will be putting the K&N in after I've sweetened up my insurance company! Looking forward to that. :spanner:

I just bought a car from Whitehouse MG they are in Sidcup now, was a bargain. my old TF PX will no doubt be on there forecourt next weekend. Was a strange kind of place though, kind of like a closing down sale, even though they had just moved there.

Was in Whitehouse Dartford recently for an ABS sensor - they do Nissans now, but they still have specific MGR spares counter that appeared to be full time manned, so they must still be getting regular custom to justify it.

Whats in the other dealership on the Right now then??? Cause that was Nissan before the MGR troubles.

The 'other' garage is still a Nissan one. Sadly the MG Rover one is now primarily a Nissan one, although they still have the parts counter and service MGR. Also Apple Developments are now an X Part Autoservice Centre :bgrin2:

Whitehouse Rover at Dartford are now Motorline Nissan but they are still servicing Rover/MG. Understand that they still have most of the Rover people there.

Was there about two weeks ago and seemed to be a fair number of Rovers about for service - mainly 75s

Rover premises being refurbished to take a Skoda Franchise!!

my mg zs180 is still serviced at beadles some of the old rover mechanics are still there mines going in next saturday
