I am moving to Hemel this week and my car is due a service (with cam belt change).

Can anyone recommend a Garage or mechanic that I could use?

Anthony Betts have been good in the past, but being a dealer, they are not the cheepest.

There's a Place in St Albans not too far from you called 'The Rover/Metro Specialists.'

They've been very good in the past, trusting/very honest too.

yeah mate they are the ones. I wouldn't say they were cheap, but they will ask permission before carrying out any work with prices and do a bloody good job.

When i had my 414s i took it to S& T autos in berkhamsted ( not franchised )
the service is first class and they will quote you before they do any work.
I would still be using them but i wrote off my 414 and my 25 is still under warranty.
