Thanks guys for all your posts/replies with reference to my engine search.
I have now sourced one from a local breaker, and it cost me less than a set of main bearings for my old lump. These are very expensive engines to rebuild , £150 per set of mains and £50 per big ends plus associated gaskets,seals etc. You see where I am coming from.
Once again thanks to the peps who sent me email, I will keep my eye on this site, very well laid out keep up the good work :)
