the fluid in my hood motor has reached the MIN line and i would like to top it up however i do not know what fluid to use. I beleive it is some kind of hydrolic, but which type?

The only one I've ever used is genuine Rover hood oil from the dealership. Can't remember how much, but I don't remember it stinging either.
