: Scripts stop running on page

Is it my PC or does everyone have scripts stop running on web pages?

I get it more and more nowdays and it is annoying. I have virus checked with two different checkers and both came back all clear.

Would reloading windows cure this? I am running Me but if I reload I am tempted to go back to 98, never had any problems with that!

Your thoughts welcomed before I take drastic action

Windows XP is free to download if you have broadband and a file sharing program! Oops! :yikes: Did I really say that? Sorry Mr. Gates!

A lot of the time it is poor programming that leads to these errors.

Maybe it is down to the fact my version of Me is a copy?

My PC is only P2 400mhz with 128K RAM so I don't think XP will run very well. I know nothing on this linux so will have a shifty round on the web to try and find out some more about it.:err:

Or did you mean poor programming by the web site owner?

Version 6.0.2800.1106 is the latest patched version.

You could try downloading the latest updates from the microsoft site.

It sounds like IE or it's settings are probably causing the problem

Which still means it's a Microsoft problem :cus:
