Well....Ridge Racer turned out to be pretty easy up to now, I've managed to complete all the races up to and including the level 6 races and managed to beat the Pacman car (so I've got that too now!). I've beaten the 'Devil' car on 2 of the 4 races, so I'm not too far of winning that one either....then it's the 'Angel' car, which by all accounts is exceedingly difficult to beat...looks like I'll have to complete a few tours on 'Ex' levels to get the tune-up kits for the cars I already have.... :err:

Did all that in 986km, which is pretty good I think. :D

Only three tours left to complete on the 'Pro' level, then I have to complete the 'Ex' tours and then I think that unlocks the last 6 or 7 tours, which will be a nightmare to beat by the looks of it.... I remember the original Ridge Racer for PS1....took me two weeks or so to complete about three quarters of it and another 4 months or so to complete the last quarter.... :err:

My thumbs ache from playing it so much....

 Well I was on holiday last week so I had plenty of time to practice! :D

I'll have to take a couple of days off though due to thumbache... :(

I have found Ridge Racer too easy aswell. I have since bought Midnight Club. Much Better :)

Right then.....finished all the 'Ex' tours now....wasn't exactly difficult...thought I'd finished the whole lot....and then it unlocked the 'Max' tours...which I'm really struggling with!

Finished the first tour after about 20 attempts, and am currently being highly frustrated by the first race on tour 40....you can't even consider getting away from the other three cars during the first two laps as they reel you back in within a few seconds as they nitro past you at light speed....your only chance is to build three banks of nitro and use them one after the other on the last few corners and hope they don't block you off, even then they often manage to romp past you right on the line.... :twak:

Not played Ridge Racer.

I did have Midnight Club, but thought it was poo (and the loading times were horrific), but i've recently got Burnout Legends, and that's ace!

I can heartily recommend that one if you're after a decent high-speed arcade racer with crashes.
