Well,
After a few weeks I'm reasonably happy. Display is good as is sound quality. Controls take getting used to - but I never had a PS2 (Have a PS1 which I used for about 1 hour). Maybe I should have bought a PS2 instead.
Haven't bought Ridge Racer (would like some WRC Game - anyone know if one's due?)
Have Lumines - which I am getting really board with now and the music is driving me mad (sounds like the Pet Shop boys :wtf:), TOCA which I keep crashing the car, Everybodys Golf (Get stuck in the water on the 2nd hole) and spiderman (still in celophane)
What is the highest score you have on Lumines? I'll check mine tonight
I'm well chuffed with mine, but I'm utilising the photo/MP3/video storage so I'm making the most of it! :D
The only thing I find is that after playing games for more than, say an hour, my thumbs really hurt due to the position of holding the PSP. :(
It's not the most comfy thing to hold, I'm always fidgeting with it.
I'm less thsn impressed with the racing games. I'm trying to save up and get me some puzzlr style games. I'm spending far too much on it!!
My son is over the moon with his, he got his registration number for yourpsp in the post Sat morn so downloaded a load of music and videos onto it. He also downloaded a game but it wont play so have to look into that. He is bored with the games he got with so is saving for some more and is a bit miffed that he cant play with anyone else non of his mates have got one yet!!
I'm the only person I know with one aswell! I wanna Wi-Fi!!
I know one other person with one....and I already have a WLAN to connect it to....and I've sussed out transfering photo's, music and films to it....you could say I'm making the most of it...bought a 1Gb memory card and a good set of earphones and it's transformed into the best Multimedia center I could imagine! :D

Ive been waiting a little while before buying one. was Waiting to see the kind of reviews they were getting. I think im going to have to get my finger out and buy one before there sold out for xmas.
I dont know a great deal about PSPs but have plenty of experience with computers, hand helds and game consoles. So what would people such as yourselves recommend buying with the exception of the PSP itself. Games obviously.
Memory cads and places to get these cheap etc. What can be put on these memory cards? Can i hook them up to my pc and put stuff on it from there.
I also think i read somewhere that you can buy a controller pack or something. Its like a ps2 controller that goes round it and can be used as a rechargable battery as well as making the psp better to hold. This would be much handier than buying new batteries all the time. Could some1 tell me if i dreamed of this or not? I would probably use it about 3 hours a day outwith my home so this would be very handy.

Downgraded mine the other week and i have to say it has just increased it's appeal to me ten fold! I have a handful of emulators already installed on it (i still only have a 32Mb card) with a few ROMS, and there isn't a night where i haven't at least spent an hour or so having a blast on mario, sonic or lemmings. If i'm not playing games on it then i'm looking for and installing new homebrew apps to see what else this thing can be used for.
Thank god for homebrew i say, keeps the interest alive. Just got to wait for a 1Gb stick and then it'll become really useful :)
