Hey

Year, How do i get the strips out of my bumper?

I want to paint them, or buy some new ones.

Take the bumper off and they push out from the back. Be caredful as they are a bit fragile.

I cant do it without taking the bumper off ? Im not so good at this stuff. And it will take me 8 hours to take the bumper off. :bigeyes:

I think it may be possible, but it would be a helluva lot easier to take the bumper off. There are only 8 bolts and six screws IIRC.

I need to do the same with the rear bumper, is that also easy to get off ?

Yea, i think there are about 5 bolts and 3 screw.

get some new ones...and gently pry them off..i think some people have done it that way...i tried getting my bumper off..its a sod...4 bolts on top...and i only found 6 underneath..i think there are some in the wheel arches :D

For the front there are 4 under the bonnet, 1 behind the wheel arch liner on either side, 3(i think) underneath in the centre, then 3 screws either side in the black bits in front of the wheels. And a bolt behind your number plate.

For the rear there are 4 plastic screws on the top when you open the boot lid, 1 either side under the wheel arch liner and either 3 or 4 underneath.

If you try and pull them out without taking your bumper off...

Its more than possible you will damage paint and/or slip.

Take the bumper off, d'orange the headlights, mesh the grille, make a day of it!

Look...someone even did a guide for two out of the three!
