Did some work on my ICE on a week off, I have now made a mounting for my reversing camera and put in a centre speaker were the dash vent used to go for a full 5.1 setup. Here are the pictures:

Just a hobby, I did work part time for both a carpenter and a fibreglass fabrication firm earning the pennies to get me through university...the perfect (if not from a health and safety point of view) backgroung for a lot of ICE install work!
I bought a vent (should have got one from a scrappy) as a spare part and mated it with a gril I had which I picked up when I was working (part time again!) for a company shipping Ford parts. This was then put in place over the vent and then fibreglassed and fillered into shape. It's not perfect 'cos it's really too bright, I need to go over it with a satin varnish or cover it in cloth to prevent some reflections on the windscreen. Incidently Hurricane Gray (a Rover colour) seems to be a good match for the dashboard colour.
The bumpercam mount is my second attempt as the first attempt was just a hole in the plastic trim. Water and condenstation got behind this so I plucked up the courage to fibreglass directly onto the bumper (using lots of cling film and masking tape to stop it sticking) I've got some photos of this process in a camera and I haven't developed the film yet.
