Martin McFeely's K series VVC Metro

After reusing my flywheel from my 1.8 solid cam engine which was from a Rover 416 it didn't work on the VVC, I've now fitted my Rover 216 bubble flywheel.
Anyway it now starts and after a few seconds the tapping has stopped from the hydrolic lifters.
I've driven it about 2 car lengths forward and back OK.
One problem, which I'm hoping is my heavy handedness is the oil pressure light is on continously. The switch may have taken a bashing against the subframe. So i'm hopeing its only a switch!!. I removed the cam cover and ran the engine to check the oil was getting up the top and the oil was spitting as it should (I think) notice the spots on the rad in the last picture.
