That .org/MGR Community Spirit

Just the other day I got to thinking about how great our community is here. While the forum is great with near instant responses to even the most technical and troublesome issues, its amazed me how personal the whole thing has been for me.
Right back to when I first joined the site, I don't think I'd even been here 3 months, and I decided to lower my 25 on GMAX struts and springs. Having mentioned on the forum how nervous I was about doing such things I find a PM resting in my inbox.
It was an offer to help me lower my car from ToneDef (Tony) who wasn't a regular but seemed every bit the enthusiast. Arrangements were made and on the day sure enough he turns up. Spends 7 hours on a rainy day helping me fit the kit for only a bacon butty and plenty tea/coffee. Sad thing is he seemed to disappear from here and I havn't been able to contact him since.
Anyway the kindness left its mark on myself and I have tried my best to be there to support my fellow enthusiasts where possible.
Between then and now I have helped a couple of members through a couple of our meets by helping change an alternator belt in a pub car park for Catterall1 and collecting a boot liner from VespaV6 and dropping it off to Carl/Kirst at the campsite of the Eden Camp Meet. I have also offered my help to various others such as offering my spring compressors on loan or assisting with members HG Changes. And while I may not have been required those offers were genuine.
Now I also need to thank Wallsy1703 who invited myself, Dr Buck and Catterall1 round to his home and did all the hard work helping us wire in our LEDs for our dash mods.
Then there is Dr Buck himself who accomodated me for a day while we fitted our MGF Mirrors and loaned me his soldering and crimping skillz.
Oh and to those who have also been on the end of a phone line either talk or text who have helped me source parts and clarify things when internet access has been at a premium...Empsburna and Geeza76 your help has been as valued as anyone elses.
If anyone in the North West needs help let me know. While I am not an expert, I am a have'a'go bloke who is willing to get stuck in. PM me and if I'm not working and have no family commitments I might be able to help.
Keep up the .org Spirit guys and girls I know that whoever is helped will appreciate it as much as me!
