Just bought tickets to Thruxton!

Just bought tickets for the Sunday @ thruxton!

Never been to any sort of racing event so looking forward to it!

Any hints/suggestions, things to look for, places to sit?

I've bought Grandstand tickets and also the paddock pass.

Never been to Thruxton but been to plenty of BTCC at Croft and Knockhill. You will enjoy it, its a fantastic atmosphere and some great racing, including the support classes!

A grandstand ticket is usually a good thing as getting a good spot to view unless you stay there from early doors can be difficult. Whenever a BTCC race is due, the viewing places swell up with loads more people.

Only other advice is take your own flask of coffee or tea, saves you waiting in a queue for one! Same with any food, I normally just fill a backpack with sandwiches and snacks.

Most of all enjoy!

Good advice there.

Maybe a couple of those fold up camping chairs would be a good idea too. In fact, we put ours up in a good spot once and left them there all day.
